Advantages and Disadvantages and the Developing Trend for VR Technology Application in Agricultural Virtual Laboratory Construstion

  • 摘要: 【目的/意义】展望VR背景下农业虚拟实验室在未来农业行业中的发展趋势。【方法/过程】通过文献分析法综述国内外农业虚拟实验室的建设情况,对比传统实验教学,概述借助VR技术开展虚实结合的现代化教学模式具有的优势,从而分析该技术在农业领域中的应用前景。【结果/结论】农业虚拟实验室因为自身的需求特点,规避了部分VR技术现存的技术瓶颈,现阶段VR技术在硬件方面已经能够满足农业实验培训的各种需求。目前市面各类基于VR的实验教学系统和农业虚拟实验室平台上也已经开始投入使用,并逐渐与农业领域的生产、科研、教学实际相结合,其在农业虚拟实验室中的应用前景广阔。

     

    Abstract: 【Objective/Meaning】Developing trend for the agricultural virtual laboratory with VR technology in future agriculture area was introduced in this paper.【Methods/Procedures】Firstly, we briefly introduced the present situation of agricultural virtual laboratory construction home and abroad, and then analyzed the advantages of modern teaching model supported by VR technology by comparing to traditional experiment teaching, and described the application prospect of VR technology in agriculture.【Results/Conclusions】VR technology, the technical bottleneck of which was avoided owing to the demand characteristic of agricultural virtual laboratory, could meet the various request of agricultural experiment training in hardware at the stage. Many kinds of experiment teaching system and agricultural virtual laboratory platform based on VR technology have been in application at present, and involved into the production, research and teaching of agriculture, indicating that VR technology is with bright prospects in the agricultural virtual laboratory.
