Abstract: 【Objective/Meaning】The problems existed in the rural e-commerce for poverty alleviation in Sanming were analyzed to propose the advancing path. 【Methods/Procedures】Based on questionnaire survey and literature investigation, we studied the factors restricting the e-commerce development for poverty alleviation, and explored the model of e-commerce poverty alleviation suitable for Sanming. The disadvantages of rural e-commerce poverty alleviation in Sanming mainly included farmers' weak participation consciousness for e-commerce, lack of industrial foundation in impoverished counties, shortage of e-commerce elite, and poor facilities for agricultural product supply chain.【Results/Conclusions】For the development of rural e-commerce poverty alleviation in Sanming, it was suggested to strengthen government leadership, build superior industries, promote the coordinated development of three industries, accelerate e-commerce talents introduction and local talent team construction in poor areas, and improve facilities construction of agricultural product supply chain.
