Abstract: 【Objective/Meaning】This article aims to develop a new path of agricultural cultural heritage utilization and protection synergy with Fujian characteristics through the tourism protection and development of agricultural cultural heritage under the background of rural revitalization strategy. 【Methods/Procedures】Field surveys and comparative analysis were used in practical investigation on 20 counties of 9 cities in Fujian Province. 【Results/Conclusions】We found several problems were existed in the protection and development of agricultural cultural heritage in Fujian, including unclear main body, the lack of agricultural cultural heritage protection and inheritance mechanism, and insufficient awareness on the importance of sustainable development of agricultural cultural heritage. Based on the results and the experience of other countries and regions, suggestions for protection and development of agricultural cultural heritage of Fujian Province were proposed from the aspects of government protection responsibility, resource transformation of agricultural cultural heritage, rights and responsibility relationship in the process of protection and utilization, benefits distribution, and development methods, etc.
