Abstract: Plum industry in Xinyi Town, Nantou County, Taiwan has made great achievements through the convergence development of the primary industry, secondary and tertiary industries.By introducing the local special product, green plum into liquor-making culture, modern visual art expo, creative theme activity for products, etc., the tourism spot focusing on plum was formed.The experience of plum industry convergence was to stimulate tourism industry by festival activities, and to increase industry attraction linking with local minority culture.Therefore continuous innovation in integration of industry-university-research showed that industry convergence in the agriculture development was imperative, including exploiting the local resources and integrating the cultural creativity.
