Abstract: Fujian is an important province of aquatic products production and consumption in China, which has many different kinds of aquatic resources. The aquatic product processing industry of Fujian can not only meet the residents' growing consumer demand, but also promote the development of local fishery economy. However, with the increasing of consumers’ safety consciousness and increasingly serious of international trade situation, the development of aquatic products processing industry in Fujian Province is facing new challenges. In this paper, we firstly briefly introduced the position of Fujian aquatic product processing industry in range of China, and analyzed the present situation and existing problems of Fujian aquatic product processing industry; then put forward corresponding countermeasures in order to accelerate the sustainable development of the aquatic product processing industry in Fujian Province, which were as follows: greatly develop the deep processing of aquatic products, make full use of the byproducts, expand the brand popularity, create characteristic brand, enhance supervision on safety, etc.
