Abstract:
Water and soil are the lifeblood of people, and the construction of ecological civilization is the new idea for the governance of country, and is closely related to the wellbeing of the people. An empirical study was conducted in Changting, the oldest, largest and most harmful area of water and soil loss in Fujian Province. Using detailed data and Granger Test, the effects of water and soil loss control on the improvement of natural environment, promotion of economic development, social progress and cultural heritage were analyzed based on the actual achievements of Changting water and soil loss control. It was considered that the water and soil loss control promoted the construction of ecological civilization in Changting County.
