Abstract: In this paper, an evaluation index system for the coordinated development of forest ecologicaleconomicsocial system in Fujian was firstly established. Using the synergy degree function, the synergy degree and the comprehensive development parameter for forest ecologicaleconomicsocial system of Fujian in 2000-2014 were calculated, and the empirical study was conducted and the data were analyzed. The results showed that the forest ecologicaleconomicsocial system of Fujian were barely coordinated in 2000-2001, moderately coordinated in 2002-2010, and highly coordinated in 2011-2014. It was indicated that during the economic developing stage in 2000-2014, the forest ecological and economic coordination degree was gradually increasing, and the forest ecologicaleconomicsocial system was high in synergy degree overall. Governmental policy, environment protection consciousness and the industrial structure were of great significance in the coordinated development of forest ecologicaleconomicsocial system.
