Abstract: Evaluation index system for quantitative study on tourism competitiveness for Taiwan tourist was established from the perspective of niche in this study. Nine cities of Fujian were classified into three grades according to the evaluation system. Then, advantages and existing problems in the tourism competitiveness of different grades of cities were analyzed from aspects of tourism competitive strength, competitive potential and competitive environment, and several suggestions were proposed in consideration of supply conditions.
