Abstract: Community building policy has been actively implemented and updated for more than thirty years in Taiwan Province of China. It has made many agricultural policies successfully implemented in Taiwan, especially the intensive agriculture. In this paper, the development of the community building and intensive agriculture of Taiwan were elaborated, and the effects of community building on intensive agriculture were studied based on fruit economy of Taiwan, including the positive influences on enhancing the sustainable policy implementation, maintaining the cohesion of residents, exploiting developing routes of rural economy, etc
