Abstract:  With the arrival of the information age, modern science is widely used in the traditional agriculture, and the high-new technologies have played a positive role in promoting the large-scale operation, marketizaiton and intensification of modern agriculture. The year of 2016 was described in the media as “the first year of VR”, and the virtual reality technology has been experiencing an unprecedented development. The concept and application area of virtual reality technology were briefly introduced in this paper, and the development status of virtual agriculture was also discussed. Then, the application prospect of virtual reality technology in modern agriculture was predicted.
