Abstract: The geographical environment, historical evolution, economic situation, material culture and non-material culture of Yangxia Village in Yuxiao County were briefly introduced. Then, based on the historical culture and its own value of Yangxia Village and by combining with the characteristics like integrity, being longstanding and typicality, the cultural value of Yangxia and the traditional villages was comprehensively evaluated. Last, the strategies on how to use the traditional village culture were put forward.
