Abstract: Based on the survey data of 1634 households from 39 rural fixed watch points villages, and according to the statistical monitoring index system of building a moderately prosperous society, the target rate of per capita family housing area and the popularizing rate of living conditions like sanitary toilet, internet and tap water in the villages of Fujian have reached or been close to the target value. But there were still some unbalanced, uncoordinated and unsustainable problems existed in the construction and development of rural areas. So, it was suggested to abide by the law of rural construction and development, adapt to the current development stage of rural areas in Fujian, and promote the changes from solely improving the living conditions within family to improving the overall livability of rural areas, thus to attract the high-quality talents to stay and live in villages and promote the sustainable development of villages.
