Abstract:
Fujian and Taiwan have the “five edge” advantages, and the development of the agricultural scientific and technological collaborative innovation activities between Fujian and Taiwan can promote the development of the cross-strait agricultural modernization. As one of the micro decision makers to adopt the agricultural technological achievement, the farmers’ willingness to adopt the agricultural collaborative innovation achievement between Fujian and Taiwan is related with the further popularization and application of the new technologies. Based on this, by undertaking a field investigation in Zhangpu County of Fujian and using the logistic regression model, the factors affecting the farmers’ willingness to adopt the agricultural collaborative innovation technologies between Fujian and Taiwan were analyzed. The results showed that the farmers’ agricultural income, their planting years, the government’s support for new technologies and the help of new technologies to farmers had a positive impact on farmers’ adoption of new agricultural technologies, while the farmers’ age and the planting area would negatively affect their willingness to adopt new agricultural technologies.
