Abstract: With the proposed strategy of the construction of Pingtan international tourism island, the rural tourism in Pingtan has met a great developing chance. As an important component of rural tourism industry, the B&Bs have also ushered in a great chance for development. Pintan’s unique stone cottage-style residential buildings, the fantastic coastal leisure resources, and the increasing and continuously international structure of tourist source has provided a guarantee for the development of B&Bs. But the current development of B&Bs in Pingtan is also facing two major constrains including a shortage of talents and the lack of managerial experience. So the development of Pingtan’s B&Bs in the future should be under the guidance of the government, make the community residents as the main body, expand the upstream and downstream industry chains and pay enough attention to the word-of-mouth marketing approach.
