Abstract: The establishment of the northern branch of Fujian academy of agricultural sciences is mainly based on the practice of agricultural development in Northern Fujian, and focuses on servicing the development of modern agriculture by scientific planning and accurate positioning, thus to provide powerful guarantees especially for the support of agricultural scientific and technological innovation. The setting and positioning of the three functions of the northern branch of Fujian academy of agricultural sciences were introduced in this paper, namely, the research of modern facility agriculture, the service of farmers’ skills training platform, and the industrial demonstration of scientific and technological achievements. Then, the construction goals of the three functions were further put forward.
