Abstract: Agriculture processing industry plays an important role in the process of new-type urbanization. By using the data of overall national input-output table in 2007 and 2012, the forward and backward linkage status of agriculture processing industry were analyzed in this paper. The results showed that the degree of backward linkages with agricultural output has increased, while the degree of forward linkages with services of agricultural products circulation and overall circulation has slightly declined, which was helpless to the development of new-type urbanization. Then, the main problems exiting in the forward and backward linkages of agriculture processing industry in the process of newtype urbanization were also analyzed. Last, the corresponding countermeasures were put forward.
