Abstract: The SWOT analysis for the leisure agriculture of terrace fields in Lianhe Township of Youxi County was carried out. The results showed that it had advantages such as superior natural resources, convenient location & traffic conditions and unique scenery, and also had development opportunities including powerful supports of macro policy and great market potential of leisure agriculture. However, there were some existing problems such as insufficient popularity, the shortage of labor resources and lack of product characteristics. Meanwhile, it also faced challenges such as many competitors, balance problem between environmental protection and development, etc. Last, the countermeasures were put forward including increasing the guidance function of government, highlighting local characteristics and improving the overall quality of labor force, thus to promote the leisure agriculture development of terrace fields in Lianhe Township of Youxi.
