Abstract:
Based on the status of cross-strait intellectual property protection and agriculture technical development, the econometric model was built up by using CobbDouglas production function which was used to analyze the impacts of intellectual property protection on the development of cross-strait agricultural techniques. The results showed that the impacts of intellectual property protection on the development of cross-strait agricultural techniques both passed the significance tests while Taiwan’s agricultural technique was affected to a larger extent. Last, the countermeasures were put forward including making appropriate policies, improving the protection institutions and regulations, supporting agricultural education and realizing regional independent innovation, etc.
