Abstract: Based on the survey on exchange students to Taiwan from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Fuzhou University, Fujian Normal University, Fujian University of Technology and Minjiang University, the problems faced in the exchange students’ study and life were analyzed from the individual, school, and social perspectives. Then, the corresponding countermeasures were respectively put forward from the perspectives of universities in Fujian and Taiwan. It was thought that the universities in Fujian should establish longterm effective management mechanisms for exchange students to Taiwan, strength the preexchange publicity and education, improve the exchanging information sharing platform and feedback platform, etc. Meanwhile, the universities in Taiwan should promote the integration of students in Fujian and Taiwan, strengthen the academic guidance for exchange students, provide trainings for the accompanying faculty and staffs, etc.
