Abstract: This paper discussed the natural and social economic conditions on the development of characteristic agriculture in Dehua, and then summarized its general situation and developmental models.It was concluded that there existed some problems on the development of characteristic agriculture in Dehua, such as the low product quality, the small production scale, the low scientific and technological level, the low market cultivation degree, etc.Meanwhile, some countermeasures were put forward in this paper ,including improving the quality of Dehua’s characteristic agricultural products continually by the idea of "green" and sustainable development, developing the leading enterprises on characteristic agriculture, putting the agricultural cooperative organization into fullplay, building the characteristic agricultural supply chain, going on the road of the characteristic agricultural brand strategy and so on.
